Update it was another chrome extension that was causing the issue. My apologies for not doing further research before posting here.

UI has not changed since launch.

Yes–you are correct, actually. It was another Chrome plugin that was causing everything to look strange. I’ll delete my forum post here. Thank you for your honest response!
