I want to do internships as I am a first year student and don’t have relevant skills as required.
Well, the obvious answer then is to gain the skills required as entry-level for the internships (you didn’t mention in what field of knowledge or industry it was). Usually the word ‘requirement’ is pretty explicit and self-explanatory.
